Day 3 17JUNE06

We set off for Jabiru and crossed adelaide river where it was said to contain lots of crocodiles. On the way, we spotted some termite moulds which built up as high as 3-4metres tall as proven in the photo. We looked so tiny standing beside it!
The wind is strong along the highway with only two lane for a two-way traffic road. Speed on the road kills, we had to be careful while driving.

At our first Petrol Station... I nearly blew up the place if not for the cashier who came out and stop from topping up before I off my engine... I could have been blown up long time ago sia....hahahaha...

Day 3 17JUNE 06

We had Fish & Chips and managed to catched a view of the seagulls flying around the Wharf, creating a great atmosphere in the vicinity.

Day 3 17JUNE 06

Early in the morning, We went to collect our Caravan which is basically a van converted into one.

We walked quite a distance into the Wicked Campers Garage along Bishop Street. The technician was actually still doing some maintenance work on the van when we reached there and he told us there was no TV in the van.

So, I took the first drive out of the garage and off we go.....

That day, we went to Strokes Hill Wharf and parked at the wrong place!! But we din lose out much before it wasn't very far in.

Day 2 16JUNE 06

We arrived in Darwin at 0400hrs in the morning. It looks deserted. lol.
We took the City Shuttle Bus to our first accomodation. FROGSHALLOW BACKPACKERS located along Lindsay street.

Day 1 15JUNE 06

We depart from Singapore at 2215h late at night. Both our parents were with us sending us off at the Airport.

I was afraid. Holding her hands in the departure hall meant another greater responsibility. Not the one I felt before but something heavier seemed to lean on my shoulder.

I had to take care of her.

Both excitement and fear got into me. As we board the plane, our story begins.
